Selective acquisition valued at 7.45 million euros which will mean improved services in Lombardy
Milan, 9 November 2016 - A2A continues its acquisition strategy aimed at obtaining environmental benefits and improving the services offered to the region: through the subsidiary A2A Ambiente, the Group has completed the acquisition of a branch of the company Sanitaria Group Srl dedicated to managing a composting plant. The plant, located in the Municipality of Bedizzole (BS), employees 18 people and has a treatment capacity of around 80,000 tonnes/year of green fraction obtained from the separate waste collection of municipal solid waste (MSW), from agriculture or from companies operating in the gardening, flower-growing and similar sectors.

This transaction will give A2A Ambiente its own plant to transfer the waste collected by the Group thereby internalizing the associated margins.

The purchase price has been agreed as 7.45 million euros, including an area valued at 1 million euros which can be used by A2A Ambiente for future projects.
