Milan, December 19 , 2024 – In the capacity market auction launched by Terna in relation to the 2026 delivery period, the existing portfolio capacity of A2A Group was awarded for a total of about 4.4 GW at a price of 46,000 €/MW/year (annual contract), with a mix of technologies from gas-fired plants to RES power plants, supporting the energy transition.
The Group was also awarded 520 MW at an average price of 11,000 €/MW/year (annual contracts) in relation to foreign capacity. The outcome of this auction is aligned with what was assumed in the update of the 2024-2035 Strategic Plan.
