A2A, the first issuer with an EMTN program approved in Italy

Milan, December 11, 2024 – A2A today celebrated its new EMTN (Euro Medium Term Notes) Program with a "ring the bell" event at Palazzo Mezzanotte in the presence of CONSOB and Borsa Italiana. The company is the first issuer to have established an EMTN Program whose base prospectus has been approved by CONSOB and which has received a listing eligibility judgment on the MOT (Electronic Bond Market) from Borsa Italiana, the regulated national bond market.

This operation is part of a broader initiative promoted by Borsa Italiana with the full support of CONSOB aimed at attracting issuers to the Italian market—an initiative that A2A has believed in from the beginning—and confirms the Group's commitment to the development of the national bond market.

The new EMTN Program will serve as one of the platforms through which A2A can carry out future bond issuances, with a total outstanding amount not exceeding the maximum limit of 7 billion euros.

The operation involved Crédit Agricole CIB and Mediobanca as Arrangers, along with BBVA, BNP Paribas, BofA Securities, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs International, J.P. Morgan, Intesa Sanpaolo (IMI CIB Division), Morgan Stanley, Santander, Société Générale, and UniCredit acting as Dealers.
A2A is assisted by the law firm Simmons & Simmons, while the banks are supported by Linklaters.
