Eight Quick Charge and two Fast Charge columns will make possible the charging of automobiles, trucks and light vehicles
Cremona, 11 April 2019 - Cremona is becoming even greener thanks to 10 charging columns for electric vehicles. The new city network dedicated to e-mobility was inaugurated today, the outcome of a protocol of understanding between the Municipality of Cremona and A2A Energy Solutions – A2A Group companies that offer solutions and technologies for energy efficiency, heat management, electric mobility and IOT – and LGH.
The charging stations network is made up of:
The first columns, already active and usable, are the Quick Charge type in Via Bella Chioppella and Piazza Alessandro Gallina and, in the coming days, the installation of other infrastructure will be completed.
Using the columns is simple: through the E-moving card, it is possible to release the charge and fill up with energy, while the E-moving app allows the rapid geolocation of the charging stations.
In another sign of the importance that the project has assumed, Linea Più – an LGH energy retail company – has confirmed its own "package” launched this summer and dedicated to electric mobility in the city. The offer gives access to a widespread network of services managed and developed by A2A and its partners (details at emoving.linea-piu.it).
Cremona’s charging points, like all the others in the A2A E-moving circuit covering Milan, Brescia, Bergamo and Valtellina, are supplied with 100% renewable electricity.
Since 2010, through the E-moving project, A2A has developed a network of more than 240 infrastructure components, including dedicated public columns for charging 2, 3 and 4-wheel electric vehicles. The development of the network, through the installation of charging stations that adopt innovative technologies, was also made possible thanks to the experience and experimentation underway in Milan's Via Ponte Nuovo and Viale Giovanni Da Cermenate, where A2A created two E-Hubs for charging the electric vehicles of its own fleet: a green choice to contribute to the growth of smarter, more innovative and more sustainable mobility. A2A’s experience has also made it possible to implement business models and offers in the service of Public Administrations, citizens, corporate fleets and car-sharing.
