Milan, 29 April 2015 – A2A S.p.A. reports that the independent director Stefano Cao has today tendered his resignation as a member of the board of directors, as a result of other professional obligations that would not allow him to ensure the commitment and operational presence required by the role.
Mr. Cao therefore automatically terminates his position as a member of the Compensation and Appointments Committee.
Considering the forthcoming shareholders' meeting, the Board of Directors has deliberated not to co-opt any member of the Board until the date of the meeting, when the board appointment will be placed on the meeting agenda.
The Board of Directors and the Board of Statutory Auditors thank Mr. Cao for the fundamental contribution that he made to the Company.
