From collection to the integrated management of waste, and then on to the recovery of material and energy; for us, this cycle is from the end to the beginning, with a strategic vision that centres on the safeguarding of the environment and applies the best technologies to ensure constant improvement in waste treatment activities.
In a virtuous cycle that transforms it into material or energy, waste becomes a resource.
The recovery of material prevents wastage, guarantees greater sustainability, enables a reduction in the consumption of raw materials and of energy, and in polluting emissions.
The recovery of energy, on the other hand, aims to achieve the maximum exploitation of waste when it is not possible to recover material. This energy recovery goes on in high-performance energy facilities with innovative flue gas filtering systems. These facilities offer numerous environmental advantages compared with landfilling, allowing the saving of both energy resources and the land itself.
Our commitment to the circular economy becomes reality in the exploitation of waste to recover energy and, in the case of cogeneration facilities, to recover heat to be put into the district heating network.
Turning waste into energy with thermal technology is the final phase of our integrated waste management cycle and offers many environmental advantages, making it possible to reduce to zero the use of landfills and to generate new value.
Treatment is totally safe: the waste is carefully selected with meticulous inspection on arrival at the facility and 24-hour monitoring of emissions, which constantly remain well below regulatory limits.
In terms of the conclusion of the virtuous cycle, our commitment is oriented towards the recovery of material for the transformation of waste into new products which can be given new value and then put back into the cycles of production and consumption.
We operate according to the principles of the circular economy, with ultra-modern equipment for the selection and recovery of waste deriving from sorted collection; this includes equipment for glass recovery, plastic selection, the selection and recovery of paper, the recovery of material deriving from street sweeping. Every facility is designed with particular attention to the environment, to innovation and to safety, respecting the needs of the community.

The organic waste treatment facilities take in waste from sorted collection, in particular organic domestic waste (coming from kitchens and catering services) and the maintenance of green areas (plant cuttings, etc.).
During the treatment process, the organic fraction is stabilized and transformed into quality compost used as a soil conditioner in horticulture, agriculture and gardening. The compost is, in fact, an excellent natural fertilizer useful in restoring the chemical, physical and biological characteristics of the soil, and is rich in valuable elements for the nutrition of plants.
The treatment allows optimal control of the process conditions, while mechanical separation and biological treatment enable the complete elimination of any pollutants present in the incoming waste.

Our mechanical-biological treatment facilities are dedicated to the residual fraction of solid urban waste from sorted collection and to comparable material such as some industrial packaging and materials coming from other SUW treatment processes.
These facilities contribute to the reduction in the use of landfills because:
The facilities have an adaptive system composed of modules that can be combined to meet the specific treatment needs.
There are two separate phases: bio-dessication and refining. In the first phase, the waste goes through a crushing and homogenization section, and then undergoes aerobic bio-dessication, which exploits the processes of biological degradation of the organic decomposable component that remains in the unsorted fraction for the production of heat that dries and sanitizes the waste.
At the end of the process, the decomposable organic component is almost completely decomposed in steam and is sent, after careful quality control, to the refining phase where, by means of mechanical, optical and electro-magnetic selection, any residual waste material is separated. The waste then undergoes further crushing in order to produce the fuel desired.
The entire treatment process takes place inside closed, slightly depressurized buildings so that it is possible to control the escape of smells. All material movement operations are automated without any need for personnel to come into contact with waste during routine operations.

In the industrial waste market, we offer businesses a global service, which enables us to become their sole partner in the entire management cycle, dealing with the organization and management of logistics for the collection, the transportation and the choice of the best, most sustainable solution for the recovery, treatment and disposal of waste.
We are able to handle all types of dangerous and non-dangerous industrial waste, and to oversee the complete value chain of the reclamation of land affected by polluted water: the waste arriving in our facilities is selected, treated and sent to final destination facilities for its re-use as material or energy.
We develop ad hoc services on the basis of production and business needs, providing assistance for the correct and up-to-date management of all aspects, including regulatory requirements.
We guarantee that the waste is treated at synergistically linked facilities, all certified at a national level by the principal agencies.
