Being sustainable means acting today while thinking about tomorrow.
For this reason, the younger generations represent a fundamental stakeholder for us in the realization of the ecological transition. With this belief, in addition to supporting the world of school by promoting the values of sustainability through educational projects, teaching tools and training courses, we have started a path aimed at spreading a new culture of sustainability among young people, working together to define innovative languages and methods of communication.
This commitment is based on an awareness: sustainability is a shared responsibility and each of us is called to do our part to protect the future of the Planet. Addressing this challenge therefore requires acting together, offering everyone the tools to build a collective and intergenerational awareness, aimed at achieving common goals.
Sustainability reporting is a fundamental tool through which companies document their commitment to ESG areas, presenting concrete data, tangible results and measurable objectives that allow stakeholders to transparently and objectively evaluate their commitment to ESG issues.
However, we recognize the complexity of this document, which is drafted according to rigorous international standards and reports metrics that are not always immediately understandable for those who are not in the sector. For this reason, we are committed to conveying the importance of sustainability reporting and making its contents more accessible using innovative and engaging languages that respond to the interests and sensibilities of young people.
We believe that talking about sustainability does not necessarily mean using complex or distant language. On the contrary, we believe that to make these topics truly accessible and relevant it is essential to adopt new ways of telling them, which are clearer, more direct and engaging.
To this end, in recent years we have carried out the following initiatives:
We produced a vodcast, on YouTube and Spotify, which makes the key themes of our Sustainability Report accessible in an informal and engaging tone, exploring the relationship between cinema and sustainability. We organized an event dedicated to the project, bringing together 150 young people and experts on the film industry and sustainability.
We were honored to receive the Gen Z Special Award at the Budget Oscars in 2024, confirming our commitment in this area. This important recognition has encouraged us in our determination: we are already working on a new project for 2025.
You are the real drivers of change! With your ideas, your enthusiasm and your daily choices, you make an essential contribution to the ecological transition. For this reason, we would like to open a permanent channel to talk with you, inviting you to send us your questions, comments and suggestions in this box, and accompany us on the path of ecological transition.
Our ‘Gen Z Forum’ was organized to talk with some young people about the ‘crossroads’ of sustainability, listening to your opinions on how companies face this challenge and communicate ESG results. You helped us understand what the priorities are for a sustainability report that can meet your expectations, for more inclusion, effectiveness and usable information.
Together with a group of talented under 30s, we rewrote our Integrated Report in a more engaging, interactive way that was based on entertainment and gaming. The people behind this adventure presented the Interactive Report to 250 young people at the Giffoni Film Festival, and to our Front Line and CEO.
We were honored to receive the Gen Z Special Award at the Budget Oscars in 2024, confirming our commitment in this area. This important recognition has encouraged us in our determination: we are already working on a new project for 2025.
